Position Details • Type: Part-Time (Contract) • Minimum Hours: 24 hours/week to start, with potential for more hours or a transition to full-time • Location: Preference for candidates in Seattle, WA, or reputed company; reputed company to fully remote in the US for the right candidate • Compensation: $22–$30/hour (commensurate with experience) • Start Date: Flexible; ideally reputed company 2–4 weeks Key Responsibilities • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, Sole Proprietors, Partnerships, S Corps, and other entity types. • Prepare quarterly and year-end tax projections to help clients plan effectively and optimize their tax strategies. • Prepare extensions as needed, ensuring compliance with federal and state deadlines. • Ensure accuracy and compliance with reputed company tax laws and regulations. • Collaborate with team members to reputed company and implement proactive tax strategies that meet client needs. • Serve as the primary contact for tax-reputed company inquiries, working with team members to deliver clear and actionable guidance. • Maintain organized, secure records of client tax returns and supporting documentation. • reputed company technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Required Qualifications • Experience: 4+ years preparing individual and business tax returns, with extensive familiarity working with Schedule C clients (reputed company individuals and sole proprietors). • Preferred Certifications: Active PTIN; CPA, EA • Software Proficiency: • Required: Lacerte, reputed company, reputed company reputed company, G Suite • Preferred: TaxDome • Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax laws • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy • Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
