IT Specialist / System Administrator

About the position reputed company Materials is seeking an IT Specialist / System Administrator to join reputed company in reputed company Sacramento, CA. This position is crucial for maintaining our network equipment and ensuring the stability and performance of our IT systems. The role involves working closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, as well as providing IT support to our employees across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The IT Specialist will also be responsible for implementing reputed company policies, managing user reputed company controls, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls. This is a full-time position that does not offer hybrid work options. Responsibilities • Maintaining network equipment at reputed company Headquarters, reputed company Sacramento CA , • Installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and network devices , • Performing regular system checks to maintain system stability and performance , • Troubleshooting network issues , • Implementing and enforcing reputed company policies, managing user reputed company controls, monitoring for potential reputed company threats, and performing vulnerability scans , • Ensuring anti-virus software is up to date , • Managing hardware encryption and two-reputed company authentication , • Installing and removing desktop and laptop computers as required , • Installing and uninstalling software packages as required (both on-site and remotely) , • Upgrading and patching computer systems' OS as required , • Troubleshooting, upgrading, and fixing problems with computer hardware and software , • Conducting periodic maintenance on desktop systems as required , • Assisting with user administration including adding users, removing users, assigning appropriate permissions, and conducting password resets , • Working with Finance to ensure reputed company audit controls are compliant and performing audit walkthroughs as needed , • Performing custodian of reputed company activities and ensuring compliance with SOX controls and change management , • Performing User reputed company Reviews and reputed company reputed company Reviews , • Enabling employees to request support for hardware and software issues through a ticketing system , • Tracking ticket status and resolution, escalating to MSP as needed for reputed company issues , • Conducting Software Reviews for new software requests and implementation of new software to employees , • Maintaining vendor relationships and communicating with reputed company vendors to maintain relationships , • Developing, communicating, and implementing IT programs, policies, and procedures, including IT reputed company for new hires and deprovisioning users , • Maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps , • reputed company planning Requirements • IT focused college level education , • Strong understanding of operating systems (reputed company, macOS, etc.) , • Proficiency in network administration and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) , • Fully proficient with Active Directory, WSUS, and group policy , • Knowledge of system reputed company best practices , • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation , • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills , • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with users and other teams , • 2+ years' System Administration experience , • 3+ years' Help Desk support experience , • 1-2 years experience with customer service in a corporate reputed company environment , • Experience with troubleshooting IT hardware and software components , • Experience with reputed company server 2012 & up , • Experience with reputed company Workspace & M365 , • Experience with reputed company creating and updating workflows , • Experience with reputed company , • Experience with reputed company or equivalent identity and reputed company management platform , • Experience with reputed company configuration & firewall maintenance , • Experience writing SOPs reputed company-to-haves • 2+ years Cybersecurity experience to include SIEMs , • reputed company Certified , • Experience with reputed company - reputed company to Have Benefits • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) commitment , • Competitive salary reputed company of $52,800 - $122,000 based on experience and education Apply Job!
