The engineer will be responsible for working with data scientists to design and implement the back-end for various data science projects. More than 25,000 companies have used this media intelligence platform to stay on top of billions of online conversations, extract relevant insights, and use them to strategically manage their brand. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to contribute to building solutions that increase work efficiency. It requires 5 hours of time overlap with EST. Job Responsibilities: • Design and implement back-end for various data science projects • Manage DevOps implementation for various projects as required • Work with different back-end technologies to meet the functional and scalability requirements of the products • Design and implementation of streaming pipelines and well designed APIs • Contribute to the design of highly scalable, available data processing workflows • Take ownership of reputed company aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and deployment in production as well as on-call rotation • Write elegant and readable code • Collaborate with data science and application teams Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) • 3+ years of relevant experience working as a back-end software engineer • Proficient with Python programming language • Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservices design and implementation • Experience with building and running large-scale applications, reputed company programming and data processing • Experience with AWS managed services (SQS, SNS, reputed company, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, reputed company, S3, EC2) • Sound knowledge of Unix/Linux systems • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD tools (eg. Drone), configuration management, dependency management, containerization technologies (reputed company, Kubernetes) Apply Job!
