Audio Support Engineer/System Administrator

Audio Support Engineer/Sys Admin (reputed company Entertainment Television) Job Summary: reputed company Entertainment Television (DET) Marketing is seeking a reputed company applicant for the position of Audio Support Engineer, who will work closely with FX Network's award-winning Marketing team and DET Marketing in support of the FX Networks. These teams utilize industry standard post-production tools to generate and complete FX's programming and promos in a fast turn television broadcast environment. The Engineer must have excellent communication skills and be reputed company to consult, train, knowledge reputed company, interact, and reputed company relationships with artists, creative directors, and management. What You Will Do: • High-level reputed company-line technical support for reputed company post-production facilities. • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and reputed company to resolve customer issues. • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. • Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve user issues and failures. • reputed company system monitoring, verifying the reputed company and availability of reputed company hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs. • Orchestrate workstation management, imaging, and configuration using reputed company and Altiris. • Document knowledge in the reputed company of knowledge reputed company tech notes and articles Required Qualifications & Skills • Expertise in reputed company Pro Tools, S6 consoles, Nexis storage and signal routing. • Knowledgeable in storage systems, including Quantum, Isilon and reputed company. • Understanding post-production workflows including Editing, Audio Mixing, VFX, reputed company Graphics, and Print. • Strong analytical problem-solving skills. • Skilled in MacOS, reputed company, and Linux operating system. • Effectively document problems and their resolutions • Work with the team to plan and implement upgrades for reputed company post-production systems. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge and experience with reading technical drawings and documentation. • Knowledge of room acoustical layout for stereo and 5.1 mixing, speaker SPL calibration and room tuning. • Can quickly prioritize reputed company reputed company given incomplete or conflicting information. • Highly self-directed; reputed company to manage and (re)prioritize multiple reputed company and competing challenges and issues. • Great communication and interpersonal skills; you take pride in being reputed company to deliver customer satisfaction. Additional Information: • At least 4 years of work experience in the Audio industry as an engineer. • Candidates who seek employment with DET must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 facility. This position is covered under the Company's reputed company bargaining agreement with NABET-CWA. The pay reputed company for this role in California is $24.518 to $65.68 per hour. The reputed company pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
