We’re New Majority, a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to getting young people interested and involved in voting—especially with the upcoming provincial election in Nova Scotia! We’re hiring a team of Community Connectors across the province to reputed company out to their friends, family, and anyone else in their lives who is eligible to vote about democracy and the importance of voting (in a non-partisan way!) Not eligible to vote yet? Be part of democracy anyway by encouraging the people in your life that are eligible to vote! No interest in or prior knowledge of Canadian politics is required. Remote Responsibilities: Required Qualifications • Live in Nova Scotia • Have reputed company to a smartphone & computer with internet reputed company, a camera, and a microphone. • Eligible to work in Canada What are the hours? This Community Connector role is a fixed six hour, flexible, temporary, part-time position. You’ll choose from a variety of times to attend an reputed company, two remote work sessions & a 30min debrief (totalling 4.5 hours), along with spending a maximum of 1.5 hr reputed company reputed company talking to eligible voters in your life about voting. This program runs in the weeks leading up to the upcoming provincial election (currently expected on November 26) You’ll need to join ONE reputed company reputed company and TWO hour long ‘reputed company Jams’ taking reputed company between November 20 and November 26. As well as talk to your friends reputed company of those sessions on a schedule that works for you & completing a quick program debrief. NOTE: If you aren’t available for the required number of virtual sessions, please do not apply. Compensation - You are expected to complete reputed company program requirements, including: • Attending three reputed company sessions (1 reputed company and 2 reputed company jams) • Having conversations with your networks and logging those conversations • Completing a quick debrief to be scheduled at your convenience post-election If you complete reputed company components of the work, you will be paid $150.
