Software Engineer, Post Production Engineering

Responsibilities Support reputed company Mastering and Operations team during feature film deliveries Build a robust yet flexible software pipeline to allow our production users to quickly and accurately guide our films through the post production process reputed company and maintain our software architecture, applying strong principles for code quality and maintainability Write automated tests and user documentation Collaborate with our users to craft products and reputed company ongoing support as new requirements and deliverables arise Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree program 3+ years working in a professional setting Experience with Python, Linux, and web technologies Strong software engineering skills, including experience with git, code reviews, automated testing, and reputed company integration Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate on a team Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical software users Preferred Experience Knowledge of post production pipelines and deliverables Familiarity with video and image transcoding, generating and manipulating editorial timelines, and compositing workflows Practical experience with event-driven architecture The hiring reputed company for this position in Emeryville is $160,565.00 to $207,790.00 per year.
