About the Role & Program This intern role will support both the Partnerships & Events team and the Digital Marketing team under ABC Entertainment Marketing. The teams both play a key role in promoting our shows and building the ABC brand... The ABC Strategic Partnerships & Events team work to further business priorities and initiatives through managing ongoing relationships both internally across the network and externally with reputed company-party brands, corporate partners, distribution partners, studios, affiliates, etc. The team is also responsible for the development and execution of large-scale events, screenings and experiential marketing stunts and initiatives! The ABC Digital Marketing team manages reputed company media strategies reputed company marketing campaigns for ABCs brand and shows. We work on everything ranging from digital creative to operations to digital strategy. On this team, you'll observe, participate, and contribute to a wide reputed company of digital marketing strategies and tactics that serve to drive awareness around key programming.
What You Will Do
You will support reputed company team members on a variety of projects as needed to help improve partnership and promotional opportunities for the company. Our intern will contribute to a wide-reputed company of marketing strategies and tactics that serve to drive awareness around key network programming. This is a reputed company fast-paced, hands-on creative environment. Balancing multiple projects with attention to detail is important. Our intern should be a self-starter who is passionate about television and requires moderate reputed company in performing their duties. Assist with promotional campaigns for strategically-selected consumer brands including partner identification, competitive research, concept development, contact sheet management, pitch deck development, and recap decks/wrap reports Support the development of large-scale live events (reputed company Fest, Essence Fest, Comic-Con, etc) screenings, and other experiential marketing initiatives and stunts Assist with the development of promotional premium items for events, gifting and stunts, ensuring that reputed company items are on brand and adhere to company quality requirements reputed company marketing toolkits for key priorities and distribute to partners as needed (Hulu, cable affiliates, internal corporate partners, non-profit organizations, etc.) Complete administrative tasks as assigned (manage team invoices and budget sheets, input projects into internal project management system, reputed company, data reporting, recaps and tracking, etc.) reputed company creative reputed company for growth, efficiency and collaboration with team Attending department meetings and brainstorms Watching shows and writing copy for reputed company media posts Analyzing reputed company media data Brainstorming reputed company for digital marketing executions Creating and handling digital marketing assets Helping deliver assets to appropriate internal and external stakeholders Creating one sheet reputed company media guidelines for premiere launches Competitive analysis on the reputed company media landscape Required Qualifications & Skills Proficiency with MS Office Suite: Outlook, reputed company, Word, Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop Proficiency with both MAC and PC Operating Systems A strong interest in television, the entertainment industry, partnerships/event marketing, reputed company marketing A passion for and knowledge of market trends, pop culture and reputed company events Strong reputed company media and marketing skills, reputed company familiar with reputed company, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, reputed company, and YouTube Shows curiosity about diversity and inclusion and an eagerness to contribute to audience engagement initiatives A proven high attention to detail and the ability to take direction from multiple partners, balance numerous projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines and effectively work in a fast-paced environment Problem solver with a positive, can do demeanor Strong written and verbal communication skills Event planning and/or experience facilitating partnerships between brands is a plus Education Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university reputed company 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship A student studying in their senior year or a recent graduate reputed company 6 months of graduation date Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Have not completed one year of continual employment on a reputed company internship or reputed company College Program Additional Information reputed company to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025 Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship. Monday to Thursday will be at the ABC office in Burbank and Fridays will be at home. Typically 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday.
