Safeguarding Officer (part time)
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a part time Safeguarding Officer to join the Council on a two year fixed term contract. This newly created role will be key in raising awareness of safeguarding and ensuring collaborative working is developed and sustained with the intention to improve safeguarding practice across reputed company services reputed company the Council, as the Council recognises that safeguarding is the responsibility of reputed company its employees. The post will reputed company the maintenance of high-quality systems, including monitoring and evaluating safeguarding policies and procedures, effective provision, training and the co-ordination of safeguarding referrals to reputed company the Council to meet and discharge its safeguarding responsibilities. The postholder will be responsible for the implementation of safeguarding projects; safeguarding risk management; support of a network of Designated Safeguarding Leads; and promoting safe practice in line with the Councils Safeguarding Policy. You will... will need to have effective communication skills and experience of Safeguarding, meeting statutory corporate responsibilities for an organisation. The post is based at the Council's offices in Kings Hill, reputed company Malling, but there are options to work remotely and flexibly.
