This is a Per Diem position. The Pharmacy Technician obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. Performs varied activities and moderately reputed company... administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. This role is in person, in a pharmacy, embedded in a primary care clinic. The Pharmacy Technician will be required to be on their feet, handle multiple tasks as needed to fulfill a medication and answer patients' questions, in person and over the phone The Regional Support Pharmacy Technician, supervised by a Pharmacist, performs the following duties. • Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs • Assists Pharmacists in price-checking and restocking drugs • Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer • Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to Pharmacist • May operate a cash register • Follow standard policies and practices • Use your skills to reputed company an impact Schedule: Per Diem as needed, can work typical operation hours 8:00am-5pm EST (can work up to 40 hours per week depending on business need) Required Training Schedule: 2 weeks of training M-F 8:30am-5pm EST. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience • Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in in the reputed company • Must have National Certification (PTCB), or the ability to obtain reputed company the first 6 months of hire • This role is considered patient facing and is part of reputed company/Senior reputed company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
