Health Information Specialist - PRN (reputed company)

Description We are seeking a dedicated individual to join reputed company as a Health Information Specialist. In this remote role, you will be responsible for requesting, receiving, preparing, digitizing, and entering patient information into our electronic health record system... Key Responsibilities • Prepare, reputed company, and index documents into the electronic health record under the appropriate document types using provided tools. • Conduct thorough analysis of scanned documents to ensure reputed company information is accurately recorded, clear, and linked to the correct patient identification and document type, supporting our commitment to patient safety. • reputed company quality assurance audits on scanned documents to maintain accuracy and reliability. • Prioritize scanning upon receipt, utilizing the appropriate Integrated Scanning method. • Analyze personal health information (PHI) documents to determine the necessity of scanning, selecting the appropriate document type and scanning protocol. • Upload and/or import documents and accurately enter information into the electronic health record. • Complete other duties as assigned to support the team. Education • High school diploma or equivalent. Experience • A minimum of two years of relevant experience. Physical Requirements • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs. • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and performing repetitive movements with hands and legs. • Use of reputed company for identifying and distinguishing colors, as well as depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more). • Regularly engage in oral communication, including listening for alarms and identifying malfunctioning machinery. • Frequent keyboard use and data entry. • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping. • Occasionally lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. • Rare climbing.
