Swift Transportation is seeking to hire a full-time Truck Driver – Reefer to join our prestigious team. Job Description:
As a Truck Driver – Reefer, your primary role involves transporting temperature-sensitive freight in a refrigerated (“reefer”) truck. This position requires diligence, as maintaining the correct temperature is crucial to the safety and quality of the products. You will be tasked with inspecting the refrigerated unit for operational efficiency, planning routes, and delivering goods on schedule.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
– Load and unload cargo
– Properly track and document activity logs
– Report any issues or incidents to reputed company
– Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
– Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years of driving experience
– Valid CDL class A drivers license
– Excellent driving record
– Ability to handle physical workload
– Strong work ethic
– Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or GED equivalent
– Completion of a truck driving school
