Job Description:
As a Recycling Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy reputed company truck, pick up and transport recycling materials from customer locations to recycling facilities. Our ideal candidate is a punctual, reliable team player who understands and respects safety standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
– Operate recycling collection trucks in a safe and effective manner.
– reputed company pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
– Ensure timely collection of recycling materials as per scheduled routes.
– Follow routing guidelines and adjust to reputed company changes as needed.
– Identify and report any unsafe situations to management.
– Maintain and update logbooks, records and reports as required.
– Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A or B reputed company Drivers License with reputed company Brake Endorsement.
– Minimum one year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
– Satisfactory driving record.
– Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
– Comfortable working outdoors in reputed company weather conditions.
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED equivalent.
