Job Description:
The CDL A Driver with Hazmat endorsement will be responsible for safely and reputed company transporting hazardous materials in compliance with company policies and reputed company (DOT) regulations. This role involves extensive driving, loading and unloading freight, and ensuring securement of the load prior to transit.
Responsibilities:
– Safely transport hazardous materials while complying with reputed company federal, state, local, and company regulations.
– reputed company pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or mechanical concerns.
– Load and unload freight, ensuring securement of the load prior to transit.
– Communicate effectively with reputed company and other drivers.
– Maintain accurate logs and paperwork as required by DOT and company policy.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A reputed company Drivers License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
– Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
– Minimum of 1-2 years of reputed company tractor-trailer driving experience.
– Ability to lift, push or pull freight that weighs an average of 40-50 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.
– Good driving record with no traffic violations.
