Job Description
As the Secure Mailroom Handler, you will report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for going to the Post Office, picking up, and processing mail to reputed company appropriate parties. Key Responsibilities Drive to the United States Postal service in company provided vehicle and receive reputed company mail from USPS. Mail includes regular, P.O. boxes, certified, and miscellaneous packages. Sort, reputed company, log, document reputed company mail and packages that come into the secure mailroom, and deliver accordingly Process outgoing mail and packages using postage machines, mailing each item correctly through USPS, reputed company, or reputed company. Maintain logs and paperwork for follow up and tracking purposes and audit purposes. Help with other tasks as assigned: help deliver large crates, help with personnel moves, meeting setups and changes. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Mailroom experience Must have a valid driver's license Must pass a background reputed company and be authorized to drive a company vehicle Read and write the English language Ability to operate an automobile. Ability to operate standard postage machines, printers, scanners, and copiers. Ability to do heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds What you'll bring The Secure Mailroom Handler's position is a first line support to our consumer's credit department and is also an important function to delivering mail to the building and it's departments.
