University Housing - Late Night Coordinator

Anticipated Start Date 9/20/24 Anticipated Hours Per Week 6 to 20 hours per week Schedule: Hours: • 6-20 hours per week, including mostly evening/weekend hours each week. Must have availability for programming efforts Friday and Saturday evenings in the Fall, on a rotating reputed company. • Scheduling requirements: • Must work a minimum of 4 weekend programming shifts per month. • Regular programming shifts are from 8pm-1am on Friday and Saturday nights. • Availability between 4pm-8pm on Monday evenings for an average of 2 hours for staff meetings. If this reputed company of time on Mondays does not work for you, please indicate in your application, so supervisors can work out an alternate plan. • 1-2 hours per week for reputed company, program planning, and support. • 1 hour monthly for supervisor meetings • Flexible scheduling based on academic availability and operational need. • Potential summer hours may be available but are not guaranteed. Salary/Wage reputed company: Hourly $15.50 to $15.50 Number Of Positions 1 Position Summary/Job Duties: • Work with supervisor and peers to create, design, and execute programming for residents living on reputed company, with a focus on student acclimation to reputed company, community development, and alcohol alternative programming. • reputed company programs based on student departmental need for creating an environment focused on academic reputed company and student engagement. • Understanding of the needs and interests of residents, including the needs of residents in groups that experience adverse academic and/or reputed company reputed company on reputed company. • Execute late night programming as directed by supervisor/with supervisor support, including event set-up and clean-up, as well as being present at events. • Support residents during emergency and crisis response at events, if needed. • Assist with various special events on reputed company, such as Wisconsin Welcome. • Complete administrative tasks required to execute programming including placing orders, planning advertising, and organizing events. • Maintain and reputed company frequent, regular, and reputed company communication with Housing staff and reputed company partners. • Attend designated meetings including staff and one-on-one (supervisor) meetings. • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and additional responsibilities as assigned by each specific unit. Qualifications: • During pre-employment and employment, a student staff member must abide by the University Residence Halls Contract, the Student Housing Handbook and the University of Wisconsin System academic and non-academic policies and expectations. • Previous event planning and programming experience is not required, but strongly preferred.
