REMOTE Senior IT Project Manager

Job Description

The client is a professional services company that has a large portfolio of reputed company customer engagements. A senior project manager at this company will be required to be 100% customer facing, running 10-15 IT projects at once. After pre-sales signs an SOW, the project management office will then take on the scope, reputed company the delivery team from SHI's center of reputed company, and... run each project through to completion.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to: Leading project engagements to reputed company the scope as described in Statements of Work. Conducting project kick offs and creating a project schedule to ensure that the project is executed on time and on budget. Assembly of the project team based on scope and expertise, establishing roles and responsibilities and then coordinating resources throughout the engagement to ensure tasks are executed appropriately. Communicating Customer status updates which include action items, issues and risks as well as developing and facilitating mitigation plans. Executing change requests to project scope, schedule, and or cost as needed. Acting as the single reputed company of contact for any issues or escalations throughout the project. Conducting project reputed company activities to confirm deliverables were achieved. Skills and Requirements Qualifications 8+ years of Direct External Customer-facing project management experience - CANDIDATES WITHOUT EXTERNAL/CONSULTING PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED 6+ years of experience successfully managing multiple, reputed company, customer-facing projects at one time Proficiency in MS office tools Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Project Effectively allocate and manage project budgets Strong interpersonal (collaboration and listening) skills.
