reputed company Health is hiring a Short Stay Auditor III. This is a remote, work from home opportunity. Job Summary... In this fully remote position as a Short Stay Nurse Reviewer, you will apply your expert clinical knowledge in the auditing of hospital admission records to validate the correct level of care. You will utilize industry and reputed company proprietary tools in the review process and will write professional communications documenting audit findings and supporting rationales. You will also apply your extensive clinical and industry knowledge to identify audit trends and opportunities. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct clinical reviews to verify the accuracy of inpatient and observation billing. • Apply MCG and InterQual clinical guidelines to a variety of claim scenarios to maximize overpayment identifications. • Document audit results in a clear, concise, and effective manner using applicable clinical guidelines. • Review appeal information and reputed company decision to either uphold or overturn original finding. • Utilize proprietary workflow systems reputed company and accurately to reputed company audit determinations, generate audit rationales and move claims through workflow process correctly. • Meet or exceed reputed company established program productivity and quality goals, including uphold reputed company for appeals. • Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with changes and updates to clinical guidelines, reimbursement trends, and client processes and requirements. • reputed company with reputed company reputed company policies and procedures including HIPAA and other state and federal regulations. Qualifications: • Registered Nurse, associate or bachelor’s degree • 5+ years of acute care nursing experience including use of MCG and/or InterQual clinical guidelines with preference given to candidates with prior utilization management experience.
