About us Los Angeles Poultry Co Inc / Preferred Food Service is a family owned poultry processor and distributor serving Southern California with the finest fresh poultry available. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is find highly motivated individuals to work as Class C Delivery Drivers... Responsibilities: - Safely and reputed company operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers - Order picking and pallet arrangment - Load and unload products from the vehicle using equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries - reputed company excellent customer service by communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner - Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities before leaving the warehouse - Adhere to reputed company traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle Qualifications: - Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred - Ability to operate reputed company trucks - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively - Ability to lift heavy objects and reputed company physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries - reputed company driving experience is a plus - Food/Meat company delivery experience preferred but not required Shift varies Mon --Sat 5:30am -- 3:00pm (Full-time + )
