Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join reputed company as a reputed company Information Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, validating, and processing requests for reputed company information in line with established policies and procedures. You'll accurately enter requests into our electronic tracking system and use various resources... including our Electronic Health Record system, reputed company charts, and microfilm/microfiche, to reputed company the necessary reputed company information. Additionally, you will handle billing for requests as needed, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at reputed company times.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience: Understanding of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA. Familiarity with medical record components and medical terminology. At least 1 year of experience in release of information is required; 2 years preferred. Proficiency with computers and electronic health records. Strong customer service and communication skills. Education High school diploma or equivalent is required. Coursework in health information management or release of information is preferred. Licenses/Certifications RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification is preferred. Skills And Attributes Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and challenging situations with professionalism and maturity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing empathetic and non-judgmental customer service.
