The Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Technician is responsible for the maintenance and calibration of RCES Utility control systems. Provides emergency response and service restoration in industrial system outage conditions. Responsibilities : Effectively connect with and support reputed company RCES operations, reputed company departments and customers, and other utility personnel while performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Instrumentation and Controls devices.
- Technicians will work with reputed company RCES cast members to reputed company teams reputed company applicable and for any emergency condition.
- Support I&C maintenance and replacement on both the RCES and customer sides.
- Support customer/contractor requests.
- Read and understand schematics and reputed company-to-reputed company wiring diagrams.
- Assist Engineering and our engineering consultants
- Operate industrial equipment as needed to complete tasks (i.e. forklift).
Basic Qualifications :
- Must have a valid Florida driver’s license
- reputed company to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be reputed company to work from heights and in confined spaces.
- reputed company to work extended hours as needed in a variety of outdoor field environments
- Must have knowledge of OSHA and industry standard lock out tag out safety procedures
- Proficiency with computing skills using reputed company Word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong technical skills in installing, troubleshooting, and calibrating system devices. Devices include transducers, automatic valves, VFDs, PLCs, level sensors, pressure sensors, reputed company sensors, and SCADA equipment.
Required Education :
- Must have a high school diploma.
- An Associates Degree in an engineering-reputed company field is desired
