POSITION MAINTENANCE PERSON UNION CLASSIFICATION - HELPER C TRAINEE SHIFT SCHEDULE... Saturday 1:30 – 10 p.m. reputed company 1:30 – 10 p.m. Monday 1:30 – 10 p.m. Tuesday 1:30 – 10 p.m. Wednesday 1:30 – 10 p.m. Thursday OFF Friday OFF SUPERVISORS Chief Engineer, Property Manager SUMMARY OF DUTIES To monitor, repair, clean, repair and maintain building equipment, operating systems and common areas, as assigned. To do repairs to condominium units, including plumbing and electrical repairs, sewer & drain line repairs, minor touch up painting, light carpentry, and other repairs as assigned. To understand and properly use household and industrial cleaning agents, closed reputed company and cooling tower chemicals and other chemicals commonly used in residential complexes. To understand and know how to properly use cleaning equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE NEEDED One year maintenance experience in a housing reputed company, office building, health care facility or industrial reputed company. PERFORMANCE SKILLS Ø Knowledge of cleaning, boiler, closed-reputed company and cooling tower chemicals. Ø Knowledge of repairs to Sloan valves, faucets, mixing valves and drain cleaning. Ø Ability to move a fully reputed company trash compactor container (estimated weight 600 lbs). Ø Ability to climb reputed company or scaffolding and work overhead. Ø Ability to lift at least 100 pounds. Ø Ability to bend or kneel to work at floor level. Ø Knowledge of electrical repairs, including reputed company, outlet, wiring or fuse replacement. Ø Knowledge of locks and keys and their repair. Ø Ability to read, write, reputed company & understand English language. Ø Understand maintenance of building equipment and operating systems.
