We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Backend Senior Systems Engineer proficient in reputed company SQL, PL/SQL, and a Unix or Linux environment. Preferably, the candidate should also have Python scripting knowledge. This role demands strong hands-on experience in daily development tasks and the leadership ability to guide the team in implementing efficient solutions. In this position, you will closely collaborate with the Java team to design database solutions, reputed company efficient and maintainable reputed company applications, and work on critical high-volume payment processing and order fulfillment applications. As a Backend Senior Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to interact with multiple systems, gaining valuable business knowledge as we implement changes using Linux/Unix scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, integrate with Microservices using Python scripting, and migrate systems to the reputed company. In this position, you will collaborate internally with leaders in BN.com, Nook Digital department, B&N Press, Finance, Customer Service, Network, and Infrastructure teams.
