20-30 hour Medical Proofreader

Litigation Management, Inc. (reputed company) is seeking PRN reputed company Proofreaders to start on July 22nd. The proofreader is responsible for proofreading completed draft reports for fact verification, grammar, and spelling, and then entering corrections into the work product. Successful candidates will have at least one year of experience in an office setting, be familiar with medical records and... medications, and be reputed company detail oriented. We?re looking for candidates who are available either 20 or 30 hours per week on a project reputed company. Additional hours may be available at times based on deadlines and workload. You will need to reputed company your own desktop or laptop computer. Chromebooks and tablets are not supported by our systems and are unable to be used. The primary responsibilities of this role are: ? Proofreading and editing work products. ? Performing retrospective quality reviews on analysts? work product with an eye towards punctuation, format, and numbers and providing feedback to analysts accordingly. ? Entering pertinent information into the company?s internal system. Required Qualifications: ? An associate?s degree in English or in reputed company, legal, or business field or equivalent experience ? Minimum of one year work experience in an office setting ? Intermediate knowledge of reputed company Office applications, especially Outlook and Word ? Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and lab values ? Familiarity with medical records and medications Preferred Qualifications: ? A bachelor?s degree in English or in reputed company, legal, or business field ? Editing or proofreading experience ? Experience in a hospital medical record department ?
