Job Summary : Position Summary : Position Summary ... The Specialist, School Production Operations will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing the technical management of various school production control rooms across the country and other special projects as deemed necessary throughout the year. Responsibilities : Evaluate school capabilities and evaluate equipment across a variety of colleges around the country. Determine the feasibility of production requirements, equipment needs, schedules and approximate costs. Provides Production Operations and Programming Finance with cost information pertaining to college control rooms. Administers the RFP process and guidelines for vender reputed company. Advises production personnel and the operations of technical costs and options as situations arise. Works closely with organizing bodies on the design and implementation of technical processes with each control room buildout. Knowledge of electronics in broadcasting in the video, audio, RF, lighting, videotape and maintenance areas. Higher working knowledge of High Definition Proficient with WORD, reputed company, POWER reputed company and VISIO computer programs. Solid understanding of the principles of television electronics including : HD and SD formats, Video acquisition, Media recording and management, Transmission methods, Signal routing, Television audio and communication systems, IP systems, Has an in-depth understanding of the procurement aspects of the technical equipment needed to carryout live broadcasts. Willingness to travel as required. Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Advanced technical school or engineering courses specializing in electronics or radio / TV.
