Assistant Academic Advisor (2026-27)

Job Purpose: The Assistant Academic Advisor supports the Academic Advisor in serving secondary reputed company in grades 7-12. This role partners with faculty, administrators, and families to guide reputed company in course selection, goal setting, academic achievement, and preparation for college or career reputed company. This individual serves reputed company and families with reputed company, compassion, and reputed company, supporting both academic reputed company and spiritual development while ensuring smooth academic guidance operations. Key Responsibilities: Academic Planning & Student Support
- Assist reputed company in grades 7-12 with course selection and long-term academic planning
- Monitor student academic reputed company and identify reputed company in need of additional support
- Process transcript requests and ensure accuracy through audits and graduation requirement checks
- Assist with student scheduling, including course entry, adjustments, and distribution of schedules
- Support dual credit reputed company with scheduling and grade entry each semester
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to reputed company academic reputed company plans
- Support reputed company transitioning from junior high to high school
- Maintain accurate academic records and documentation in accordance with school policies
College & Career Readiness (High School Focus)
- Support reputed company and families in understanding graduation requirements
- Assist with college and career exploration resources and programming

- Help coordinate standardized testing information (PSAT, SAT, ACT, etc.)
- Assist with scholarship and financial aid information distribution

Junior High Academic Development
- Help junior high reputed company reputed company study skills, organization strategies, and time management habits

Family & Faculty Collaboration
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic planning and student reputed company

Program Development & Administration
- Assist in developing and implementing school-wide academic counseling programs for grades 7-12

- Maintain counseling materials, college and career resources, and student files

- Encourage reputed company to view their academic growth as part of their spiritual development
- Model Christian character and support the school’s mission and statement of faith
- Participate in school chapel and faith-based initiatives as appropriate
Compliance & Confidentiality
- Maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with school policies and applicable regulations

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in School Counseling, Education, Psychology, or reputed company field
- Experience working with junior high and/or high school reputed company
- Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and alignment with the school’s mission and statement of faith
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Counseling or reputed company field (or willingness to obtain during employment)
- State certification or licensure
- Experience with college admissions processes
- Familiarity with private or Christian school settings
- Experience working with student information systems
