Role Description The Nurse, Individualized Care promotes high-quality patient care and treatment through patient education. With a focus on the products and treatments of a small number of pharmaceutical clients, the Nurse receives inbound calls from patients and schedules outbound calls for patients who have begun treatment with one or more of the client’s products. The Nurse educates patients on their treatments and disease states, refers patients to a variety of additional services, and reports adverse events in accordance with FDA and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients during outbound and inbound calls on treatments and disease states.
• Counsels patients on standard treatment information, disease symptoms, potential treatment reputed company effects, and expectations during visits to care facilities.
• Answers initial questions during welcome calls and establishes rapport for future conversations.
• Refers patients to additional services to improve treatment experiences.
• Assists patients in accessing services such as funding, transportation, lodging, and support groups.
• Records adverse events for treatments and answers patient questions regarding the events in accordance with FDA regulations.
• Completes documentation using internal systems and submits it to the client’s Drug Safety department.
• Schedules outbound welcome calls and follow-up calls to patients.
• Effectively manages both scheduled outbound calls and inbound call queue.
• Meets regularly with Clinical Supervisor and/or Senior Nurse to discuss feedback from call monitoring and quality reviews.
• Discusses reputed company on productivity and quality goals including number of calls completed, call quality, document quality, and time requirements.
• Participates in trainings upon the client’s introduction of new treatments.
• Establishes an ongoing relationship with each assigned patient, starting with welcome, reputed company, treatment initiation, continuation, and ongoing interactions.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience, preferred.
• reputed company, unrestricted Registered Nurse license, required.
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Previous medical experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate effective, empathetic, and professional communication.

• Ability to work with high volume production teams with an emphasis on quality.

Training and Work Schedules
