CDI Director
Requirements:
- BSN, PA, or NP required
- CCDS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CDI experience required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines and CDI practices
- Experience reviewing documentation for accurate DRG assignment and reimbursement
- Experience educating physicians and clinical staff on documentation improvement
- Experience auditing CDI workflows, queries, and documentation quality
- Knowledge of quality metrics, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Epic experience preferred
