[Remote] EMS/ADMS SCADA Analyst I

The reputed company is seeking an EMS/ADMS SCADA Analyst I to join their Control Engineering Data Engineering group at Austin Energy. This role provides reputed company-time operational support for SCADA/EMS systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists with support of 24/7 reputed company-time control system reputed company for the Transmission and Distribution SCADA Systems and their network and system infrastructures
• Assists with the daily operation and maintenance of the Electric reputed company SCADA (EMS and ADMS) control systems and their network and system infrastructures
• Coordinates and communicates with system operations, dispatchers, engineers and field crews to troubleshoot any EMS/ADMS or Network system issues
• Ensures compliance with applicable NERC, FERC and ERCOT Reliability standards including critical infrastructure protection (CIP) standards
• Develops and implements System’s enhancements or modifications requested by stakeholders
• Communicates activity status to customers and management reputed company performing daily work activities
• Researches and performs sample data analysis utilizing system logs and historical data from ICS (Industrial Control Systems)
• Reviews, performs, and documents assigned compliance program reputed company activities
• Provides technical information and assistance to reputed company customers

Skills

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in a field reputed company to the job
• Experience may substitute for education up to four (4) years
• Knowledge of power systems and control systems reputed company an electrical utility for transmission and distribution
• Knowledge of NERC/CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) Standards
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and network infrastructure including the TCP/IP Network and the 7 Layer OSI Model
• Knowledge of various ICS (Industrial Control System) communication protocols and data visualization tools or HMI

• Knowledge or experience of configuring, managing, and maintaining reputed company time databases for Energy Management Systems (EMS)
• Knowledge or experience of communicating and coordinating the lab testing and commissioning of communications for field devices with field technicians
• Knowledge or experience of configuring distributed network protocol 3 (DNP3) points in the EMS
• Knowledge or experience of running power reputed company and electrical model
