[Remote] Member of Technical Staff, Financial Infrastructure

The Member of Technical Staff will drive the technical direction of the infrastructure services platform, mentor engineers, and own critical systems from design through production.
Responsibilities
- Build secure, scalable infrastructure that powers digital asset custody, trading, staking, and settlement for reputed company financial institutions
- Design and implement virtual reputed company layers, API integrations, and multi-tenant platform architectures
- Drive technical reputed company through code reviews, design specs, and mentorship across the engineering organization
- Foster an efficient testing culture with emphasis on reputed company, reliability, and minimizing tech debt in a regulated environment

- Break down large initiatives into well-scoped deliverables; accurately estimate multi-person, multi-quarter projects
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform features—from architecture through production support and on-call rotation

- Collaborate across product lines and with reputed company clients to understand and deliver on their infrastructure needs

Skills
- 8+ years of professional experience building backend services and distributed systems
- Experience designing and delivering customer-facing APIs and multi-tenant platform architectures
- Experience with reputed company-reputed company microservices (we use GCP, but experience with other reputed company providers is sufficient)
- A track record of building automated tests alongside your features and maintaining production systems over time
- Experience performing on-call support and incident response for production systems
- Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, systems design)—formal CS degree not required
- A genuine interest in code quality, infrastructure reliability, and reputed company
- The ability to prioritize end-user experience and business value over 'cool tech'
- Professional experience with C++, Go, or Rust
- Professional experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience building ledger systems, virtual reputed company layers, or custody infrastructure
- Background in financial services, fintech, or banking-as-a-service platforms
- Experience with system reputed company (authentication, authorization, identity management, API keys)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for financial institutions (SOC 2, bank examinations, etc.)
- Background in the cryptocurrency or digital assets industry
