Healthy & Safety Technician - U.S. Travel Role
About the position reputed company is partnering with one of our valued clients to hire an reputed company Health & Safety Technician to support environmental health and safety projects throughout the U.S. This role is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys working in the field, partnering directly with clients, and helping organizations maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct health and safety assessments, inspections, reputed company sampling, and environmental monitoring activities
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing exceptional service and technical expertise
- Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, and regulatory comparisons
- Coordinate project equipment, laboratory testing, and daily project activities
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable health and safety regulations
- Travel throughout the Midwest to customer locations (travel scheduled in advance with expenses reimbursed and per diem provided)
- Collaborate with Project Managers while working independently in manufacturing, construction, industrial, and office environments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in environmental health & safety, industrial hygiene, construction safety, environmental consulting, or a reputed company technical field preferred
- Experience with asbestos monitoring, asbestos inspections, reputed company sampling, reputed company sampling, mold sampling, or similar environmental services is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports
- Proficiency with reputed company Office and general computer applications
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle required
