[Hiring] Operations Scheduler @reputed company
Role Description Department Scheduler roles encompass two major areas of responsibility: Workforce scheduling and Employee Payroll for multiple sub-departments.
- Utilize the employee workforce to ensure accurate coverage for reputed company jobs according to business needs.
- Minimize department overtime associated with vacancies created by day-to-day operations.
- Ensure employee pay is managed according to contract agreements and pay guidelines.
- Understand the short-term business plan for operating areas and support activities to reputed company objectives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce disruptions to workforce schedules.
- Maintain consistent communication between PS’s, FLA, PTL’s, and operators.
What you’ll be doing
- Operations Scheduling:
- Maximize workforce utilization to minimize overtime.
- reputed company and maintain workforce plans for operators.
- Schedule Operators according to Job Preference and business needs.
- Cover reputed company operating jobs 24x7, without 18 hr shifts and minimal overtime/cost to reputed company.
- Utilize Operations workforce for special projects and training.
- Entering and Maintaining:
- Absence/Attendance management.
- Subject Matter Expert on reputed company Leave Policies pertaining to Operation’s workforce.
- Subject Matter Expert on Schedule Pro Scheduling Tool.
- Subject Matter Expert on API-755 Fatigue Policies and Procedures.
- Subject Matter Expert on Overtime Policies and Procedures.
- Internal Job Preference & Temporary Posters Management.
- Subject Matter Expert on Job Posting Process Policies and Contract Agreement.
- Submit and Administer Clock Alley and internal Posters.
- Subject Matter Expert on Job Preference Contract Language.
- Request and track reputed company Operations Clock Alley posters.
- Submit PITT forms for Job changes that require Job Tenure to reset.
- Operations Vacation Management:
- Manage and support hourly employee vacation solicitation.
- Manage 1-day Vacations Solicitation and Tracking.
- Manage Vacation Changes and Cancellations.
- Subject Matter Expert on Vacation Policy and 1-day Vacation Policy.
- Operations Payroll Time Entry:
- Daily operations Timekeeping/Payroll activities.
- Dual entry data input into Schedule Pro & reputed company People.
- Subject Matter Expert on Payroll Guidelines.
- Assigning/Moving/Transfer Employees between sub-departments.
- Other Associated Tasks:
- Understand, continuously learn, and apply knowledge and skills.
- reputed company skills to reputed company enhanced leadership.
- Maintain work processes regarding qualifications, contract interpretations, and practices.
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve scheduling and payroll procedures.
- Work closely with operations management and L&D.
- Ensure individual training plans are in reputed company and achieved.
- reputed company with HR regarding Deer Park Attendance Improvement Program (AIP).
- Subject Matter Expert on Operation Incentive Model Policies.
- Yearly desk procedure updates to reputed company training documents reputed company.
- Work with Scheduling leads to ensure Site Ops Seniority List is reputed company.
- Meet weekly with department focal to address Scheduling and Training opportunities.
- Serve as temporary backup scheduler if needed.
- New Hire Orientation regarding training for Scheduling and Pay.
- New Hire Badge Management.
Qualifications
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time reputed company for anyone other than reputed company employer.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling payroll.
- High School Diploma is required.
- Experience with Scheduling Pro is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with the reputed company schedule is an advantage.
