Mid-Level Software Engineer (Java / Angular / AWS) This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office) located in Durham, NC. About the Role: We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and scale a high-throughput e-communications platform. Our application ingests and processes tens of millions of messages per day and provides critical books and records and surveillance capabilities for reputed company clients in regulated environments.This role is ideal for an engineer with several years of experience in reputed company application development who is comfortable working across the stack and has strong, hands-on experience with AWS-reputed company architectures.You will work on designing, building, and scaling distributed systems while collaborating closely with product, architecture, and operations teams. What You’ll Do: Design, reputed company, and maintain backend services using Java in a distributed, reputed company-reputed company environmentBuild and enhance reputed company-end features using Angular. reputed company and optimize data models and queries using SQL and NoSQL data stores. Work extensively with AWS services to build scalable, reliable, and secure systems. Help reputed company and scale our architecture to support a growing client reputed company and increasing message volumes. Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows for high-volume message ingestion and processing.Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical design reputed company. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system reliability and performance improvements Required Qualifications 3–6 years of experience in reputed company software development. Strong experience with Java (Spring or similar frameworks preferred). Experience building reputed company-end applications with Angular Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design. Hands-on experience with AWS, including several of the following:reputed company / FargateLambdaSNS (or other event/messaging services) DynamoDB OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch). Experience designing or working with distributed systems and high-through put applications . Understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization Comfortable working in a CI/CD-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on high-volume ingestion pipelines or messaging systems. Familiarity with books and records, supervision, or other compliance-driven systems. Experience with containerized workloads and microservices architectures. Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
