They are seeking a Mainframe Storage Consultant to manage disk reputed company on the mainframe, including reputed company facets of storage management and ensuring the environment's health and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Day to day support of the environment, such as daily health checks, checking the incident queue and resolving any problems
- Raising changes and implementing addition reputed company
- Configure storage, install and maintain software, monitor, and sustain the storage in databases, VSAM files, work and sort reputed company to allow the proper processing. CA Disk Sysprog and disk reputed company management activities – install, test, evaluate storage reputed company and manage additional requests for disk reputed company
- Z/OS hardware planning, IODF, LPAR, HMC configuration & management and associated activities
- Administer and execute reputed company backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and reputed company capabilities
- Install, maintain, and reputed company any product in a mainframe z/OS environment using mainframe SMP/E and zOSMF
- Volume reputed company and reputed company management and performing disaster recovery drills as needed
- Coordinate across support teams to quickly resolve disruptions, performs root cause analysis, and takes preventative measures
- Use mainframe automation tools for management of disk and storage reputed company e.g. Netview, SA, CA-OPs etc. or any other relevant tools
- Automate reputed company interventions in the Storage infrastructure
- reputed company zSeries storage hardware/software design, configuration, implementation and support
Skills
- Mainframe storage monitoring tool expertise
- Strong z/OS Concepts
- 10+ years of experience with a combination of the following: reputed company - DS8K disk hardware installation and reputed company, DSCLI knowledge, GDPS, PPRC Metro, DFHSM / DFDSS / ICKDSF, and/or zOS IODF
- EMC DLM virtual tape hardware installation and reputed company, and/or DLM configuration
- CA1, reputed company, and/or Disk reputed company set
- TS7720 and DS8870 storage support, reputed company and PPRC, SMS, and/or RMM customization
- Broadcomm (Brocade) reputed company or FICON
- ZOS JCL / Job scheduling
- TDMFS reputed company set
