[Remote] QA Test Engineer - Vehicle Diagnostics

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a full-time Vehicle QA Test Engineer to join their dedicated team supporting a domestic vehicle manufacturer. The role involves developing test cases, executing test strategies, and validating vehicle diagnostics data to ensure the quality and reliability of connected vehicle services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing test cases, Test plan, Design Test Strategy, Test Execution and Test deliverables to assess the functional and non-functional quality and reliability of a component and/ or a system for Global connected services, IOT, OTA, on Trucks for E2E Testing, Regression, System Acceptance test, etc
• Working experience with multiple APIs & verification of the APIs using reputed company
• Verify the vehicle data upload in Backoffice using reputed company tool
• Coordinate projects and validation efforts with other engineering groups and departments reputed company company
• Create, execute, analyze and report results of test cases against requirements at the level of integrating embedded software modules from embedded software development environments
• reputed company scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other programmatic test tools as required test automation and enhance them across successive projects
• Identify Defects, log defects with logs and monitor/track in defect tracking system. Manages the defect triage process
• Manages and maintains requirements, test cases, test results, defects, and other data in Test Management (reputed company Quality Center/ALM, Azure dev ops, or JIRA), Provides training to team members on Quality Center functionality as required
• Connected services backend data validation is must, which requires some knowledge to reputed company AWS, Data validation using reputed company Tableau, Schema, Kafka, SQL
• Responsible to validate and verify backend diagnostics data as per Process
• Designs, develops, and executes test cases using test plans and functional specifications
• Plans and manages integration and testing cycles
• Coordinates and executes assigned QA activities for sprints
• Writes test plans which enforce the acceptance criteria of features
• Keeps reputed company test plans and cases updated to changing requirements
• Creates sets of regression test cases based on build activities
• Be proficient in writing SQL Query to get data from various reputed company
• Onsite and Remote work required. Offshore Team coordination. Some days start earlier than others

Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM or Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or reputed company field
• Any relevant experience in Telematics, Firmware and Software Over-The-reputed company (OTA), and Vehicle Diagnostics Data is highly preferred
• SQL, API, reputed company Scripts, UI/UX testing, Azure DevOps
• Experience with API verification for user reputed company
• Good knowledge on writing SQL quires for data update, collection, modification
• Experience with reputed company data verification on Azure DevOps, AWS, SQL, reputed company
• Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. HPQC)
• Must have design and/or validation experience
• Python, reputed company, reputed company, Kafka topics, CAPL
• Knowledge in CAN, J1939, UDS
• Simulation of CAN data using CAPL script
• Automating test scenarios experience optional but reputed company helpful
• CAPL Scripting, basic UNIX, ADB Commands (Optional but reputed company helpful)
