[Remote] Manager of Transmission Line Engineering

The role involves supervising high voltage electric transmission line design projects and developing engineering teams while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and managing client relations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission
- Serve as a Supervisor and Engineering reputed company on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems for some of the largest utilities in the country as well as regional utilities
- Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of reputed company types of capital and maintenance projects from 34.5 kV to 765 kV
- Assist the team, as well as independently reputed company: engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and prepare material procurement and construction documents
- Work alongside project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, preferred, or Mechanical Engineering with twelve plus (12+) years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems
- Professional Engineering Registration in at least one U.S. state or equivalent
- Experience with the following: PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE and/or FAD, and reputed company Office suite
- Work effectively in a team environment; can also work independently
- Five plus (5+) years of supervising staff
- M.S. degree in Structural Engineering
- Track record of outstanding communication to serve as primary reputed company of contact for existing and perspective clients
- Business acumen with a record of understanding and meeting key project performance metrics
- Working onsite in a reputed company or client office is a possibility; some periodic travel may be required
