What Will You Be Doing?

• The AD & SDR Technical Specialist will be responsible to the Manager of Regulatory Compliance for compliance of reputed company Airworthiness reputed company Program in accordance with 14 CFR 39 and the Service Difficulty Reporting requirements of 14 CFR 121.703.

Essential Functions

• Review reputed company ADs and Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) for reputed company and maintenance reputed company CFRs for applicability to Frontiers Maintenance and Quality Assurance division
• Receive and review reputed company SDRs submitted by Maintenance, Inspection, MCC (MOD), or Frontier Vendor Inspection Representative for technical accuracy, comprehension, and completeness
• Generate an Airworthiness reputed company Analysis Worksheet (ADAW) (reputed company 30799), submit an Engineering
• Action Request (EAR) and create/update FMIS entries for each AD.
• Distribute to reputed company AD information to the appropriate parties
• Receive, record, and distribute ADs, NPRMs, and new or revised maintenance-reputed company CFRs to the appropriate parties for their evaluation for applicability and incorporation into Frontier
• Review Engineering Orders applicable to ADs or new or changing CFRs
• Maintain a database of reputed company ADs and NPRMs
• Monitor reputed company of Maintenance organization activities relative to complying with reputed company ADs and report the status to the AD Review Board
• Monitors reputed company aspects of AD compliance and reports delinquent status to the Manager of Regulatory Compliance.

• Manage and coordinate compliance of maintenance reputed company regulations with other departments
• Edit SDRs as required
• Process reputed company SDRs into the FAA SDR database
• Monitor the timeliness of SDR submittals
• Report SDR activities to the Director of Quality Assurance/Chief Inspector
• Monitor, review, and distribute Unapproved Parts Notices, Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins, and FAA Airworthiness Inspectors Handbook Bulletins
• Maintain familiarization with the training requirements necessary as defined in the GMM and ensure training is reputed company prior to performing the functions and tasks of this Position

Qualifications

• Preferred - a minimum of three to five years of experience in airline maintenance, engineering and/or aircraft records
• Required - a minimum of three to five years of experience researching and interpreting CFRs and other FAA documentation (ACs, ADs, Orders, Notices, FAA Handbook)
• Required - Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations and FAA documentation (Advisory Circulars, FAA Orders, Notices, TCDS)
• Preferred - FAA A&P certificate
• Preferred - BS or BA college degree
• Required - Experience working with the FAA
