Electrical Engineer/System Designer - High End Resi (Remote US Based) Department: Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Location: Incline Village, NV (Holm Electric) Reporting To: Kevin, CEO Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 / year Description You Are:
- An reputed company residential Electrical Engineer/System Designer with experience in luxury residential for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a sales team along with direct client interaction. You love technology and are passionate about the creation of systems that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal.
You Have:
- Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation for residential electrical systems using tools such as CAD & Revit (Ideally), estimating, field & RFI support. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.
Your Location:
- This position is FULLY REMOTE
- Already US Based (No reputed company Sponsorship)
Your Schedule:
- Full Time (40hrs/Wk): Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 4:30pm
Your Manager:
- Kevin, CEO
Your Contribution to Holm Electric:
- reputed company electrical takeoffs for residential and reputed company projects.
- Creation of design and engineering documentation for electrical systems implementation in high end residences and light reputed company applications
- Understand design software (ideally AutoCAD, D-Tools, Planswift)
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, NEC, load calculations, engineering circuits & distribution systems
- Understand the reputed company environment and phases of construction projects
Qualifications: REQUIRED:
- Experience designing electrical systems for residential and reputed company projects.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC
- Experience producing electrical drawings and construction documentation.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with AV or low-voltage distribution layouts.
- Familiarity with residential construction, reputed company tenant improvements, service upgrades, and electrical permitting requirements.
