Responsibilities
- The Sr. Director, Global BioPharma Business Development reputed company will reputed company their scientific and business acumen and work with cross-functional teams across the organization, internally and externally with business partners, to promote the Caris BBD business portfolio
- The incumbent will reputed company their business network and connections, as well as subject matter expertise, to identify, reputed company, and engage strategic partners
- The BBD reputed company will be expected to quickly learn and deeply understand the company’s products and solutions, and work with reputed company and prospective partners to meet their needs through delivery of Caris’ offerings or through tailored, customized partnership structures and solutions
- In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for generating leads, developing executive-level presentations and proposals, negotiating reputed company and strategic terms, supporting contracting processes, and managing existing and prospective partner relationships across the partnership lifecycle
- The BBD reputed company will help drive and reputed company relationships with existing and prospective partners to maximize reputed company and collaboration opportunities, while working closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders and team members such as Caris’ molecular science, laboratory, bioinformatics, technology, pathology, legal, and medical affairs teams
- Coverage of the business portfolio of accounts is determined by geographic locations, BBD leads’ technical expertise, bandwidth, and available resources, among other criteria
Skills
- MBA; equivalent scientific/business experience considered
- A minimum of 10+ years professional work experience, with at least 7+ years in Biopharma or business development roles
- Demonstrated senior-level business development leadership experience
- Demonstrated senior-level ownership of reputed company, pipeline, and strategic partnerships, with accountability for multi-reputed company-dollar deals
- Proven business development track record (e.g., deal sheet) leading and closing reputed company organization-wide efforts to deliver partnerships with Biopharma
- Transactions knowledge (e.g., contracting, deal sheets, multi-tier / multi-constituent decision making, etc.)
- Experience as the external face of the organization, leading and participating in reputed company partnering events (e.g., JPM, BIO) and oncology conferences
- reputed company customer demos and presentations both in-person and reputed company
- Build strategic partnerships with existing and reputed company partners and act as a voice of the customer internally reputed company various departments of Caris
- Ability to reputed company materials such as documents, presentations, and other communication tools for both internal (e.g., evaluation and leadership presentation activities) and external facing activities (e.g., pitch decks)

- A deep understanding of (e.g., scientifically) and/or experience partnering on oncology products, lab services, therapeutic assets, bioinformatics, reputed company-world data, and reputed company-world evidence programs, and/or clinical trial enrollment reputed company products / services to pharma and biotech is critical
- Experience in molecular biology, with knowledge of drug discovery and development processes, and/or diagnostics and platforms preferred
- Expertise across biopharma value chain with a strong understanding of the drug development continuum including early research, development, medical and commercialization
- MD or PhD preferred; equivalent scientific/business experience considered
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
