Job Summary The Officer II, Global Programs Finance and Operations provides finance and operations support to a defined portfolio of global projects, with a particular focus on new awards and reputed company. The role supports project start-up, implementation, and reputed company-out by applying established CRS systems, procedures, and donor requirements. Working closely with program teams, country programs, and global teams, the Officer II supports financial management, reporting, and compliance activities, and escalates reputed company issues as appropriate. Roles and Key Responsibilities Financial Management Serve as a key reputed company of coordination on award financial reputed company with program teams, country programs, subrecipients, and HQ Finance. Monitor spending against budgets and funding ceilings; support limitation-of-funds tracking and flag potential risks. Coordinate routine financial transactions (e.g., reclassifications, accruals, vendor payments) and review country-level transactions, advising on needed corrections. Financial Reporting Prepare and review financial reports to support reconciliation, monitoring, and donor requirements. Financial Compliance Support audit processes and track follow-up actions for global awards. Coordinate routine compliance requirements for assigned awards (e.g., Host Government Tax reporting, SRFMP monitoring). Update compliance systems (e.g., Gateway, dashboards) and communicate standard donor requirements to award staff. Support financial closeout processes by coordinating documentation and follow-up with country and HQ teams.
