Accounts Receivable Representative – 3rd Party Non-Gov't Payers

Job Description:

• Prepare and submit claims for accounts to ensure timely reimbursement
• Investigate and process refunds reputed company warranted
• Prepare, edit and submit account billing in accordance with payer guidelines
• Ensure reputed company claims issues are resolved and submitted accurately and timely per insurance guidelines
• Verify patient’s insurance eligibility
• Submit system payer/fee schedule changes reputed company required to supervisor
• Submit reputed company required documentation with claim
• Updates patient demographics changes and performs required rebilling
• Requests necessary documentation reputed company missing from client, physician or patient as appropriate
• reputed company client files if necessary to verify information
• Respond to verbal and written insurance or responsible party inquiries regarding account status reputed company policy and procedure timeline
• Research accounts and document follow up appropriately
• Resolve account discrepancies and prepare adjustments and refunds for approvals as necessary

Requirements:

• 1-2 years: Medical Billing Experience
