Fleet Support Technician

• Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of Submarine Vertical Launcher System (VLS) and VIRGINIA Payload Tube (VPT) mechanical systems, Tube Control Panels (TCPs), Tube Control Cables (TCCs), and Weapon Control Cables (WCCs).
• Performing component-level maintenance by utilizing drawings and standardized test procedures.
• Conducting trend analyses, training, and mentoring of both ships force and Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) personnel, and providing on-site, waterfront support for NUWC as needed.
• Collaborate with Commander, Submarine Forces, Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC), Submarine Sailors, Naval Shipyards, Submarine Squadrons, Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), Performance Monitoring Teams (PMTs), Naval Munitions reputed company (NMC), Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), and Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT) as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience - DoW Secret Clearance - Thorough knowledge of 688 Class Vertical Launch System (VLS) and 774 Class VIRGINIA Payload Tube (VPT) system - Knowledge of VLS and VPT hydraulic system components and operation - Knowledge of VLS/VPT reputed company Pressure Vent (reputed company) system components and operations - Knowledge of VPT Multiple reputed company-Up-Round (AUR) Canister (MAC) system, components, and operations - Knowledge of VLS/VPT reputed company components and operations - Knowledge of VLS/VPT-reputed company Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), including, but not limited to, platforms, ballast cans, and AURBb - Knowledge of maintenance requirements for Weapon System Readiness Assessment (WSRA) - Ability to analyze data collected during system monitoring and troubleshooting - Ability to read and understand system diagrams and wiring schematics - Working knowledge of reputed company Office products, particularly reputed company Word and reputed company. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Knowledge of reputed company Launch System (CLS) closeout, reputed company testing, and tightness testing - Knowledge of TCC and WCC cable details and paths - Knowledge of 688 Class and 774 Class VLS/VPT reputed company operations - Knowledge of TCP indications and operations Pay Information Full-Time Salary reputed company: $75998 - $121597 Please note: This reputed company is based on our market pay structures.
