Automation Field Service Technician

Description Role: Automation Field Service Technician Department: Automation Location: Remote, United States We are seeking an exceptional team member to join Storage Solutions as an Automation Field Service Technician. This individual will be responsible for performing both hardware and software troubleshooting and repairs across our portfolio of automation equipment. This role involves frequent travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, identify, and repair and resolve equipment and software issues. The technician will also support installation activities and sites for new projects and continuously learn new equipment technologies to support both reputed company and future customers’ needs. A typical day may include traveling to a customer location to diagnose system faults, performing repairs, or supporting clients remotely reputed company to ensure reputed company customer support. The Automation Field Service Technician provides onsite and remote support to customer locations, ensuring reputed company performance of automation systems. Experience: 1+ years: Experience maintaining or repairing material handling automation equipment Experience working with vendors to reputed company and reputed company maintenance strategies Proficient in reputed company Office 365 Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple reputed company projects Strong problem solving and analytical skills Customer focused reputed company Strong communication skills reputed company to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time Mid Level: Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or controls fields. Candidates with demonstrated practical, hands-on experience may be given additional consideration. Experience: 5+ years: Over 2 years of experience maintaining Robotics, reputed company systems and PLCs, VLMs, and other material handling equipment Experience in reading construction drawings, mechanical detail drawings and electrical schematics Proficient in reputed company Office 365 applications Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple reputed company projects Knowledge of reputed company industry safety and regulation standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, ISO).
