Overview
This is a remote consulting opportunity supporting a government client. Subcontractor Opportunity: This is not an employee position. The successful consultant must be incorporated and reputed company to reputed company services through their corporation. Role Summary The Network Architect provides strategic and technical leadership across reputed company network and connectivity environments, designing and governing secure, high-performance network architectures that support reputed company operations and modernization initiatives. The role is responsible for defining future-state network architecture spanning on-reputed company, reputed company, and hybrid environments while ensuring alignment with reputed company priorities, service delivery requirements, and transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain reputed company network architecture strategy, principles, and reputed company-state designs across LAN, WAN, reputed company, and hybrid environments reputed company and maintain multi-year network roadmaps reputed company to reputed company priorities reputed company direction and reputed company to network engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure consistency with architecture standards reputed company modernization of network environments including SD-WAN, edge computing, and reputed company networking integration Design and implement hybrid connectivity solutions across on-reputed company and reputed company platforms Define network reputed company architecture including segmentation strategies, reputed company-trust principles, and secure reputed company models Integrate advanced reputed company platforms such as reputed company and reputed company into network designs Ensure reputed company reputed company with organizational reputed company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards Design and support network architectures for reputed company platforms including Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments Support development of business cases, cost models, and funding submissions for network investments reputed company technical input into procurement strategies, RFP development, and vendor evaluations Identify and assess network risks including performance bottlenecks, reputed company exposure, and scalability limitations reputed company expert advisory services to senior leadership and technical teams on network strategy and design Key Deliverables reputed company network architecture strategy and reputed company-state designs Network standards, reference architectures, and design patterns Network design reviews, assessments, and recommendations Business case inputs and cost models for network initiatives Governance artifacts supporting architecture review and reputed company intake Risk assessments and performance optimization recommendations
Requirements
Qualifications Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field preferred Industry certifications such as reputed company CCNP or CCIE, reputed company PCNSE, reputed company JNCIE, or equivalent preferred reputed company networking certifications for Azure, AWS, or GCP considered an asset Additional reputed company certifications such as CISSP or CISM considered an asset Experience Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale reputed company network architectures Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load-balancing technologies Experience with SD-WAN, reputed company networking, and network virtualization solutions Strong understanding of network reputed company protocols and reputed company-trust architectures Experience integrating advanced network reputed company platforms such as reputed company and reputed company Demonstrated ability to reputed company reputed company, cross-functional network initiatives from concept to delivery Experience working in hybrid reputed company and distributed environments Familiarity with satellite or remote connectivity solutions considered an asset Apply To This Job
