Job Summary The Consultant, Reactive Services is an individual contributor role reputed company Unit 42, responsible for supporting digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) engagements across a wide reputed company of client environments throughout Latin America. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Consultants, reputed company Consultants, and Consulting Directors to investigate cybersecurity incidents, reputed company forensic analysis, and help organizations respond to and recover from reputed company events. You will contribute technical expertise during active investigations while continuing to build advanced DFIR capabilities in fast-paced client environments. This position is ideal for a DFIR practitioner who enjoys hands-on technical investigations, problem-solving, and working directly with clients during high-impact cybersecurity incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute digital forensics and incident response investigations across reputed company environments. Conduct forensic analysis of endpoints, systems, logs, and reputed company environments to identify attacker activity and scope of compromise. Assist with host, network, and reputed company investigations during active reputed company incidents. reputed company forensic acquisition and preservation of evidence following industry best practices and chain-of-custody procedures. Utilize industry-standard DFIR tools and methodologies to investigate malicious activity and support containment efforts. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information reputed company, or reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), reputed company Operations, SOC, or reputed company cybersecurity disciplines. Experience supporting investigations involving ransomware, intrusion activity, phishing, malware, or unauthorized reputed company incidents. Foundational understanding of forensic methodologies, evidence handling, acquisition techniques, and chain-of-custody procedures. Hands-on experience with DFIR tools such as EnCase, FTK, SleuthKit, Volatility, or equivalent forensic frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to reputed company technical investigations in high-pressure environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting reputed company incident response investigations across reputed company or hybrid environments. Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK reputed company. Exposure to malware analysis, threat hunting, or reputed company investigations. Experience working reputed company consulting, managed reputed company services, MDR, or incident response organizations. Industry certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, GCIH, CISSP, reputed company+, or similar. Experience supporting multinational clients across Latin America. Travel Willingness to travel up to 20% throughout Latin America to support client engagements.
