The role involves leading reputed company of engineers and designers in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical substations, ensuring project execution to high standards and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of physical design projects of reputed company sizes, including resource planning, risk management, and project delivery
• Conduct performance evaluations, reputed company feedback, and manage career development for designers
• Prepare or reputed company the preparation of cost estimates and schedules for physical design projects
• Allocate direct reports effectively to meet project demands
• Work closely with project managers and design managers to ensure that the portion of the project that is assigned is executed reputed company and to high standards

Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design of electrical substations
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to effectively organize multiple physical design assignments and competing priorities to produce accurate products on time
• Experience managing physical design projects, including budgeting, scheduling and risk management
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional work teams
• Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills, and a successful record of positive interactions with clients
• Experience in creating and reviewing substation design drawings
• Proficiency with reputed company software applications used to reputed company substation design work
• Ability to successfully work with remotely located team members
• This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of reputed company employment
• PE license highly preferred
