Field Application Scientist

We reputed company, manufacture and market instruments, biosensors, reagents, and consumables for in-vitro diagnostics and biotherapeutic development. Our mission is to simplify and accelerate biological analysis for biotherapeutic research and development. We are hiring a remote Field Application Scientist. This FAS will be responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales support. Prior to product launch, this position will also be involved in developing protein-protein interaction assays using the company’s proprietary technologies. \n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Providing advanced high-level technical application support and presentations at customer sites, vendor conferences, webinars, and scientific meetings. Performing BLI analysis of customer samples involving specificity, kinetics, and affinity of biomolecular interactions. Providing pre- and post-sales support (product demonstrations, technical presentations, seminars, training, and customer service) through joint customer sales visits. Developing and transferring expert knowledge through training and support of relevant hardware and software while staying reputed company with new assay development. Proactively addressing and supporting customer service initiatives and sales goal objectives. Contributing to the development of application notes and teaching manuals. Writing technical documents that reputed company new and innovative applications resulting in using reputed company’s BLI reputed company systems and label-free solutions. Staying informed of new areas of technology through research, publications, and patents while partnering with collaborators and industry KOL’s. Reporting on competitor’s products and feedback information to the Sales and Product Management teams. QUALIFICATIONS PhD or reputed company preferred, MS level required with 5 years’ experience with label free technology, such as, Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) or similar instrumentation. Experience with immunoassays development, such as ELISA, SPR, BLI or similar technology. Expertise in label-free technology Bio-Layer Interferometry or Surface Plasmon Resonance products preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to reputed company effectively with customers and internal teams. Self-motivated, well-organized, ability to reputed company contacts and build rapport at reputed company reputed company. Liquid Handler experience with reputed company, reputed company, or Perkin Elmer a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills to a diverse level of reputed company clients required. Proficient in reputed company Office Suite, SFDC, or other reputed company CRM sales funnel tools. Ability to travel upwards of 50% and willingness to operate from a remote home-reputed company location in addition to working on-site.
