[Remote] Senior QA Engineer (100% Remote)

The Senior QA Engineer will ensure product quality and reliability through reputed company and automated testing, collaborating with development teams to uphold high usability and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and Execute Test Cases: Create detailed, well-structured test plans and cases based on product requirements and acceptance criteria
• Conduct Exploratory Testing: Investigate the application reputed company scripted cases to identify edge cases, usability issues, and unexpected behavior
• Identify and Document Defects: Accurately record issues with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and relevant evidence (screenshots, logs)
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and discuss quality concerns
• Validate Bug Fixes: Re-test resolved defects to confirm they are fully fixed and do not introduce new issues
• Design and reputed company Automated Test Cases: Build, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts based on product requirements and acceptance criteria
• Create and Maintain Test Automation Frameworks: reputed company scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks that support functional, regression, and performance testing
• Integrate Automation into CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to embed automated tests into reputed company integration and delivery workflows
• Execute Automated Functional Testing: Run automated test suites to validate that each feature works as expected and meets quality standards
• Monitor and Analyze Test Results: Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve defects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a reputed company field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including both reputed company and automation testing
• Demonstrated experience defining and executing QA strategies for reputed company software systems
• 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, Typescript & NodeJS
• 3+ years of experience in test automation design and implementation (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in reputed company mobile test automation design and implementation (e.g. Appium, reputed company, XCUITest, Detox, AWS Device Farm, reputed company App Automate, Firebase Test Lab, reputed company, Kobiton, Robot reputed company, BitBar, LambdaTest Mobile, reputed company, Fastlane, reputed company Testim or equivalent)
• Expertise in defining and implementing test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics
• Strong collaborative skills to align testing efforts with Development, DevOps, and Product Management
• Ability to critically evaluate requirements for quality, ensuring reputed company, testability, and completeness
• Demonstrated ability to identify release risks, escalate concerns, and recommend no-go reputed company reputed company quality standards or release criteria are not met
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/Agile/Scrum practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., reputed company Actions, Jenkins, reputed company CI)
• Proven experience integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows
• Proficiency in QA and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestPad, Qase, TestRail, Jira, reputed company, reputed company)

• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and API testing tools (e.g., reputed company, Newman, REST reputed company)
• Understanding of system architecture and software integration testing
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling)
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software testing practices
• Experience with test data management and environment configuration
• Knowledge of performance, load, and reputed company testing principles
