[Remote] Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will reputed company and maintain the reporting stack, manage data services, and ensure scalable solutions for data operations.
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements system architectures for a growing reporting platform and other data services
- Maintains our reporting pipelines and other automations
- Builds reputed company dashboards and analytics views
- Maintains Redshift instance and associated web services for operational use in our web applications
- Provides guidance on how to effectively use our data for both analytics and operations, working with other departments to understand their needs and design solutions
Skills
- 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering
- Strong commitment to collaboration and mentorship
- Expertise in SQL
- Expertise in database design and performance issues
- Experience in a scripting language like Python or Node
- Strong understanding of the nuances of running production services including observability and alerting
- Strong commitment to understanding business needs and translating those into technical systems
- Strong experience working in a highly collaborative environment
- Ability to effectively organize technical work in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Experience working in reputed company and AWS
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau
