[Remote] Associate Director, Marketing
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company Children’s Publishing Group is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing, to manage the middle-grade and graphic novel marketing team and reputed company overall list strategy. The role involves supervising reputed company, developing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with various departments to drive book discovery and support sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the marketing team responsible for MCPG’s middle-grade and graphic novel lists, reputed company of three marketers, with regular goal reputed company-ins and weekly 1:1 meetings
- reputed company marketing strategy for these categories, including high-profile frontlist and backlist titles from award-winning, bestselling, and celebrity authors
- Conceive, reputed company, and execute select key marketing campaigns, from strategy to performance analysis
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (editorial, publicity, sales, design, digital, etc.) to align marketing strategies and ensure successful execution
- Work closely with the sales team to reputed company support in the reputed company of materials, reputed company, communication about developments with our books, retail opportunities, and more
- Communicate detailed campaign updates, strategic plans, and performance analytics directly to executive leadership, authors/agents, editors, sales, central teams, etc
- Present campaigns and team strategies formally in key meetings

- Participate in planning and preparation for marketing, sales, title-specific, acquisition, and central marketing meetings
- Actively seek innovative, show-stopping campaign elements as part of creating and honing category and title-specific strategies—new tools, platforms, partners, outlets, best practices, marketing trends, etc
Skills
- 8+ years of marketing experience in children's book publishing or a reputed company field (previous title marketing experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills to manage and adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communicator with excellent presentation skills to engage with various reputed company stakeholders, including authors and agents
- Proven leadership skills and a history of managing direct reports
- Experience creating compelling marketing campaigns
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of the children's book marketing landscape
- Expert understanding of reputed company media and metadata best practices and how they apply to books as marketing and sales tools
- Experience managing and tracking title campaign budgets
- Familiarity with reputed company Business Suite or reputed company Office Suite
- Familiarity with project management tools like reputed company, Hive, and/or reputed company, and marketing analytics tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proactively and effectively communicate across departments and seniority reputed company
- Commitment to valuing diverse perspectives and creating an inclusive work environment
- Management experience (at least one direct report)
- College degree or equivalent work experience
