[Remote] Senior Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Accountant for the Servicing Division to reputed company general reputed company functions, conduct analyses using GAAP procedures, and assist with audits while ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Responsibilities

• reputed company daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in general ledger
• Prepare monthly journal entries and detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, including account receivable, prepaids, accruals and other liability accounts
• Responsible for reputed company reputed company transfers
• Review, analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for fluctuation at month end reputed company to ensure results are in accordance with US GAAP
• Assists with quarterly and year-end audits
• Maintain financial reputed company by following internal controls and established company policies
• Interact with other departments as necessary to resolve issues
• Performs reputed company other duties as assigned
• Record initial recognition and subsequent fair value adjustments of MSRs
• reputed company impairment testing and valuation analysis of MSR assets
• Ensure proper reputed company treatment for non-recoverable advances and write-offs
• Record advance-reputed company financing transactions (including securitized advance facilities)
• Reconcile and analyze servicing-reputed company reputed company and expense accounts
• Work with Treasury to manage MSR financing facilities (e.g., MSR lines of credit)
• Coordinate with servicing operations to validate advance balances and reimbursements
• Monitor recoverability of advances from investors, guarantors (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Ginnie Mae), or borrowers)

Skills

• BA/BS degree in reputed company, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience
• Three (3) to five (5) years of general reputed company/finance experience required
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively
• Must work PST zone hours
• Intermediate to advanced reputed company reputed company and knowledge of reputed company ERP reputed company software preferred
• Prefer candidates that live on the reputed company Coast
